About Me:

Welcome to my portfolio! My name is Stefan Manoharan. I earned my PhD in Electrical Engineering in August 2023, and my BS in Electrical Engineering in May 2018. Through my doctoral research, I contributed pioneering studies in understanding the sensorimotor interface through electrical stimulation. Having accomplished a lifelong dream of performing rigorous research and building something to benefit humanity, I'm looking to apply the same excellence, perseverance and passion in bringing products from conception to reality.

Areas of Interest:

Through my doctoral experience, I learned to navigate completely new and unfamiliar territories. Accordingly, I developed mental models which enable me to learn and contribute quickly. I am passionate about applying my unique skills and perspectives to products in the following industry settings:

• Consumer Electronics

• Space Exploration

• Medical Devices

• Electric Vehicles

Other Interests:

My side projects include a wearable tactile feedback device for AR applications, and a Next-Gen Neurostimulator for rehabilitation. Outside of Electrical Engineering, I read, run and enjoy living life with my wonderful wife Hannah and our two cats, Binx and Cookie.
